My specs are as follows:
OS: Windows 10
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
Processor: Intel Core i7-9750H @ 260 GHz
Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks so much!
Such things usually happen when users don't keep the order of instructions or leave a step out. Are you really sure you did every step in the order provided and are you really sure you didn't leave anything out? Please check:
1. your Front-end.ini, please post its contents
2. your resolution, at what resolution is your Windows running?
More to follow as soon as I see that info.
all i wanted was to run it in a higher res so it didn't look so dated but all i got was 2 days of bloody frustration
How in the world shall I help you then?
If you go see your dentist because you've got toothache, you must also open your mouth!
It'd also really help if you'd not write without any "." or ",".
And tone it down, cowboy! It's not my fault that you don't do what you're told!
Re: JSGME
I've added an explanation to the instructions, would you bother to read! If not, don't blame me!
and yes i followed your instructions to the letter in fact i have just redone the whole process with the same result the game lets me set up my torp load out and crew then click mission and it CTD's everytime oh yes i have anger issues :) ok 1 more go then to hell with it i'll just run GWX in the games original steam location atleast that works
Add me and i can give you details on how to, its 2 simple steps or so, i got this game running on several machines, linux and windows. Modded ofc, with Widescreen ( ultra wide in my case )
So if you didn't follow the instructions to update JSGME to its newest version, then this causes a chain-reaction, so that S3F does not recognize it (well-documented, but often ignored), resulting in that you can't apply the H.sie patch and so on and so on and so on.
Redo from scratch.
^^^ This also means and includes to delete the configuration file that Front-End writes (S3F.INI or so) so it makes a new scan and doesn't use your old data.
We have thought we found that out in the very topic, but the author had already implemented this as an undocumented command option, see here: http://www.donitzeliteflotilla.com/forum/index.php?topic=64.msg16046#msg16046
Do you now see why it's so important to follow every single step of my instructions in the provided order? You only cause a mess if you don't!
same for the front end ones
