How to run STEAM-SH3-V1.6b-GWX-WIDESCREEN on Win10

I thought I give you a complete set of easy-to-follow instructions on how to get the SH3 obtained from STEAM to run on Win10 with GWX and further mods. So here's how I did it. And this works with every Windows-version!

I wanted to have A COMPLETE SET of instructions that ACTUALLY WORK, because I saw how others leave something out or neglect to get it all right, so I described in great detail what's necessary to apply mods AND PATCHES (sic!) to the STEAM-version of SH3. Some say it's too detailed, some say it could be more, you can't make it suit anyone...

how can i run hsie patch in your program, its turn a second but it makes nothing.

s3F front end, is gives a click and goes for this patch, but dont work i see is in Game wenn the towercomander by diving an up not go automatically on the Tower again, i hope i wrote it right fiedler :-)

Front-End? That's not my program. It's been written by Blitzkrieg!
That guy continuously improves his software, so make sure you're using the newest version!

Hey, I followed your guide, and the game will launch, but whenever I try to start a mission it loads to 90% and gives a "No CSubTorpedoCtrl:* cmihalache" error message. How can I fix that?

- your JSGME mod-list
- your S3F.ini
- your S3F.log

Only the H.sie patch(V16B1) and Conus widescreen mod as provided by your guide are active. Tried it with only H.sie enabled, but is has the same effect.

Log and ini look good to me.
Disable the H.sie patch (=switch it off in JSGME).
Does the issue persist?

Is this patch really critical? or is there another way to install it that it works?

I got no idea why the H.sie patch could be the problem.

Are you really sure you did everything in my instructions exactly as written and didn't leave anything out? I mean really?

I've never seen that error before, so it might well be a mistake on your end.

Another idea/question: You didn't say with which of the two installations this problem came up.

Pretty damn sure I followed the guide exactly, but then again i'm a total noob in this field.
I used the GWX version when the problem came up.

Test this:

Install Hsiepatch on your vanilla version. Does the error occur then?

Yup, same error. Tried to load vanilla after disabling the Hsie patch again, and this time it did load but then froze on "game paused" for whatever reason
