I have used plenty of mods and when I say they break the game... for early access games people will install mods and then an update happens and then the game doesn't work or launch and then those players yell at the developer cause they can't play.
When in reality the mod broke the game not the game itself.
And who do you think gets the brunt of the anger when this happens? Right. The Dev.
So the easiest way to not have this happen is to simply either not allow mods or don't use them.
And besides.. the game has a cheat menu.
There needs to be a mod that turns all of the street racers into Vin Diesel and makes them just yell “Family!” if you try to talk to them. I might actually deal with the street racing if it was like that. They could also only go to the halfway point of the race, then make a U-turn.
