Did you forget a caliper on the front? I know I had an issue like that with my car when I missed a front caliper. Would lock up one front wheel and whip it around.

The performance brakes for the truck are just really strong and the truck doesn't have an ABS module so the wheels lock whenever you brake on keyboard

Try using weak/standard breaks at the rear and performance at the front

Tested a theory during straight line braking and it worked out. It appears to be the same old gremlin on how this game calculates the physics of in-game objects -- especially the behaviour of those items in motion on board your vehicle.

I noticed that ever since I upgraded to performance brakes all round on the OlTruck, the rear end would kick out anywhere from moderate to severe -- the problem isn't your brakes -- it is ANY item in your truck cabin.

With the high performance brakes your truck is stopping far faster than your old or good brakes. ANY items in your cabin smack into the front wall. Since we typically will unbalance our truck by throwing items into the passenger seat (which makes sense) this causes the weight of the truck to shift and throw the rear right around due to the introduced rotational force.

This should obviously not ever happen considering the weight difference between a truck and a gas canister, a few cans of paint, or even food, but there you have it.

Removed ALL items from my cab and now the truck brakes in a beautiful straight line even on dirt.

TLDR: It is ANY items in your truck cabin slamming into the front wall during heavy braking and causing a rotational force. If you are referring to braking while turning? Then yes, downgrade your brakes unfortunately.

Or you will have to revert back to old school braking and pump the brakes to stop safely.

it is normal to have strong front brakes and weak rear brakes, normally the breakpump steering that but you can take weak calipers in the rear axis, this will help alot
