Own a disc copy
I own a disc copy of this game but its showing its age. is there a way I can convert it to a digital copy? I seem to rmember doing this before with another game.

There are no instructions on how to crack your DVD here.. This is fourm is for SH4 by steam release. Well something like that...

not crack it. if you have the license key basically register it with steam. I can't find a license key anywhere though so maybe the disc doesnt have one. i'll probably just pay the 10 bucks.

There is no gurentee it will work, because the key is for the CD/DVD version only. So you can try, but I wouldn't get happy about it.

Go into "Games" in the tool bar, go down to "Activate a Product on Steam" and fallow the directions. It claims it will take a CD key or DVD key of a retail version. I tried and it never worked. This is the only section you can do this with... Good luck..

thanks a lot. I was looking in the library and everywhere else never even tried any of the buttons at the top.

I'll give it a shot. it's cheap enough at 9.99 if I want a digital copy for the inevitable failure of the physical copy great game.

Just remeber if you also decide to pick up the SH4 u-boat mission campaingn, this is a add-on, and it is best to have SH4 first, then this add-on..
