SH4 and Windows 11

Has anyone figured out how to get this to work on Windows 11 - I made all the corrections for Windows 10 and then PC died had to go with Win11 machine and now SH4 crashes after 5 min or during heavy play

i cant even start up the game, when i click play the button goes back to play

U need to go to steam, go to library, right click on the game, properties, installed files, browse, find the sh4 with sub icon highlight it (left click once) then right click, properties, compatability, run on windows xp (servie pack 3), then load game

I tried this fix and while it did work for several hours, I eventually ended up with a green screen crash to desktop.

A FIX for you SH4 this should run them all

My pc is very Hi-spc or price its running Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KS 3.20 Ghz, 128 GB (128 GB usable)
Go to the L-side in steam Games Scroll down ( were all Games are!! )
Fins the game ie: Silent Hunter then R-click then go to Manage / Browse local files
Then find the little Pic of the sh4Boat Application and R-click on it
Click on Properties then in tab above Click on Compatibility
Tick the Box Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution
Remember to Apply Below Right
