Hey buddy, can you reply with thefolder location for the SH4.exe, I want to be sure it is the same as on my system. Thanks
I had to enable WIndows XP service pack 3 compatibility mode as well for it to work.
Please advise when it works well this game on win10, I am very interested for my is the best of all and I so want to play a greeting and thanks again...
What helped is Chugly11, and the link to subsim. I read the link and found the problem that fixed things for me.
Find the file under SH4.exe file under Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\SH4 (or where ever you installed everything). Right click on the SH4.exe file, and go to compatibility tab. Check the box, "Disable display scaling on high DPI setting". That's it. No XP SP3. No run as administrator. Just check that box, and it is works.
I think... I haven't played to see if it crashes later. But at least I got past the first problem many others have seen.
