Problem unlocking Defcon from demo to full

Hey, i just bought a game and its still demo version, i uninstaled and install again and is still demo version. I bought it today and have no clue what to do.

And if i go try purchase again it says - Your account already owns some of the above items, so you can’t purchase them again.

So its in my library but it wont unlock from demo to full.

What to do?

Uninstall the demo.

I did, its not longer there, full game override it, but there is authentication problem as it authenticate the full game in demo version so full version is overrided with the demo.

Its a Steam authentication problem, each time it connect when i start the game if fails and offers me to play a demo.

Same here. No idea how to fix it, especially since it's a fresh install on a new machine. Windows 10 problems, maybe?

Yeah I've also got that demo buy now note. Also the screen graphics are quite poor for my resolution (1600x900)

It's not a Windows 10 problem. I have the same issue, and when I looked for a solution I found a five year old topic at the developers forum about the autentication problem. One of the developers did something to fix it, and it worked, but the problem reappeared.

I got the impression that is was a network issue, and could be fixed by the user. Someone linked to this:

Yep, can reproduce the problem here too. Luckily I have my key, but it's come up as I recommended a mate buy it to play it with me - then this happened :(

Um...I just installed the game, and I am having this issue, so I'm not sure it actually is resolved. Is there something I should try?

Installed this today to play with a friend who just recently bought this. I bought this about 5 years ago or something. Could play it then but not now. What gives?

Oh, I figured out what was up with mine btw. I just hadn't entered the multiplayer key.
