lol finally a 2016 post, i would recommend genocide today, if you are looking for a mod that has abit the modern day in in, or the cold war, 1980s, Space6 if you want a space battle

You can browse mods here
http://www.introversion.co.uk/defcon/mods/
to install them, all you need to do is unzip them, and create a folder called "mods" in the defcon files, (if you are on windows it should be something that looks somewhat like this:
ThisPC/OS/Programfiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/defcon) then put the unzipped file in. download at your own risk

i only see like 4 mods here, none include the genocide mod or cold war.
