Try this:
Go into Steam properties for DEFCON, select "Browse Local Files". Right click on DEFCON .exe, select Properties. Open the "Compatibility" tab. Check the box for "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings."
This should stop the game scaling to your native resolution, and should allow you to change the resolution in-game from the main menu. Give it a shot, it's the silver bullet solution for most games that predate native high DPI resolutions.
i cannot find the defcon .exe like their is none for me but i just have defcon and idk what to do
I am seeing the bottom left quarter of the screen like it is zoomed in too far and I cannot mouse lower than around halfway.
So I went into High DPI settings and selected override DPI settings by Application and that seems to have done the trick, but now the text is SO tiny...is there any way to mess around in the settings or files to scale the game better for a 1080p display on big screen TV as monitor?
I've found changing your screen resolution whilst making the game a little more pixelated it is mostly unoticable and greatly scales the text
