I always enjoy "the wanderer" or here "the traveller" mostly in roque likes. How more flexible and complex, how better. But normally I use to play with iron man and let the randomness decide with what charakter I go into the world. Whoa, but the keeper philosophy is very great here in this game, right?! I am asking me, when the heck will we start to have villages like that in reality..

My favorite character was a Chef obsessed with bread baking, crushing gremlin skulls with hammers and stabbing bandits with knives. I also really enjoyed my Urchin turned nature staff warrior with wolf packs, was an interesting way to be a druid without starting as a druid.

IMO what's great about the skill system in Trithius is the many ways to play and RP.

I always like druids in any game so this one was a no-brainer for me. And I must say it looks solid in early game once you get to wolf summon. But unfortunately in late game the only things left from my druid are healing spells and -15% crit damage...
My next playthrough I will definitely start with an Archer as I found myself using ranged combat most of the time. Background perks are strong too and remain useful through the whole game. Ranged combat is pretty powerful here. Yes, most skills are useles, but learn to use Athletics jump + some occasional teleport potions + stunning/immobilizing shot (although unfortunately their range is not great and does not benefit from + range bonuses) and nothing can hit you, at least in the wildernes. For tight spots and ambushes youll definitely want some melee weapon with chivalry passives. I found both staves and maces being a solid choice with lots of stun. Havent tested other weapons yet, so maybe they are fine too. And nature magick is definitely worth taking at some point at least for healing, maybe in later versions wolfs will get a buff too

i agree wolfs seem very weak once you move past gremlins and rats, what starting perks have you liked the most? 15 weight seems pretty great havent noticed much use of my trap detection one

Not a question for me, in any case where carry capacity is an option, go for carry capacity :)

High dodge sword wielding street urchin was fun. Super fast, hardly ever get hit due to stacking dodge buffs.

I'm really really enjoying the chef! I haven't tried any other classes though

I basically became a travelling cook, going town to town offering superb meals to hungry clients! You get more money for giving them superb over regular so I'm netting about 200g per town I visit and hand over a meal

Yep, food quests are the best money source currently

I am a mercenary, who summons wolves, and usually starts the combat with a bow, before the fight actually starts with sword and shield. Out of combat I have read every book ever made, crafted every potion, cooked every meal, picked every plant and mushroom and recently started to dabble in enchanting my armor and weapons. I am considered so chivalrous I'm practically a Sir, and I am very well known for my skills in both survival and travelling.

For me, the best thing in the game is that I can do everything with the same character, and try glorious combination of skills.

crit is always x2 damage right? that is pretty strong. How are his other traits?
Swift-Li Dec 7, 2022 @ 6:39pm
The class had me at 50% crits.
