The fact that they have given PC users the last gen (PS4/XB1) version of the game, which means it's lacking MANY new features that they advertised, is simply unforgivable. They have dodged the question of "Are you going to update the PC version eventually?" every time it is asked, which to me, means "No but we still want your money"

I've seen better effort, story, mechanics, features, graphics, soundtracks, and actors in porn.

This is not the game being advertised on Steam. Within all the posts and news updates for this game on Steam these are just a few of the blatant fraud being committed by EA and Valve with their false advertisement.

First off the screenshots are from the NEXT GEN Console ONLY version not the PC version.

“Plus, you can assess your first half performance, make adjustments at halftime, and come out of the locker room better prepared for the second half.” - Not on the PC version only Next Gen Consoles – You make depth chart changes the same as you did last game (Madden 21) on the PC.

“All new Home field advantages” - Not on the PC version only Next Gen Consoles

“An enhanced Season Engine in Madden NFL 22 will ensure that every Franchise season you play will be different” - Not on the PC version only Next Gen Consoles

All -Access Scouting Coming in Patch 1 – EA Help states it's for next gen only not the PC Version, However this may just be EA Help not talking to EA Sports.

New pre-game presentation and commentary as well as Superfans – Not on the PC version only Next Gen Consoles

New faces and more realistic faces of current players - Not on the PC version only Next Gen Consoles (They don't even have the new rookie photos in the normal game, they are only in their MUT mode!)

The list goes on, that's on top of all the same bugs at the start of last years game (Madden 21) with extra ones just for this year, all for the SAME price as the Next Gen Console Version.

It's not only insulting to your PC player base but really that's the last time I trust anything coming from EA Sports. I'll find a new sports games to play with friends I suggest you all do the same. NFL should be ashamed to have anything to do with EA and the way they are tarnishes the NFL's image.

played the trial, same exact game as last year. definitely not worth spending money on. hopefully EA will lose their contract and some other developer will be able to step in and make a something worth buying

This game is the football game equivalent of scratching a mosquito bite. If you really need a football game, this will scratch the itch, but it's not a satisfying scratch. It's the kind of scratch that leaves you wanting more, and the more you scratch it, the more annoyed you get. I bought it since I simply had no option for a football game, and I will keep it because even though the itch is now an open bleeding wound, I still feel compelled to scratch it, but I can't in good faith recommend anyone else do the same.

Most usefull keys in this game: Alt and F4.

- Next Gen Movement, Stats, and Graphics are major selling points for Madden 22 but are not available to PC users.

- Scouting wasn't finished in time for launch so it's the exact same as last year.

- The locker room cut scenes are bare-bones and don't really add any enjoyment to the weekly routine. They are actually really annoying because of how janky they are.

- The menus are somehow more janky feeling and take longer to load. Can no longer quickly edit lineup by hitting RB in franchise menu.

- Talent trees are ok but feel forced and don't let you make many meaningful decisions. The "Staff Points" you earn are essentially useless after one season and you've maxed out your trees. After a few seasons I have hundreds of staff points I'll never be able to use. They just sit there and alert me they exist.

- Rosters don't even have most of the rookies pictures in the game so it's just a black silhouette.

- Graphics are starting to look pretty dated because of the lighting. When you look at what other games have been able to do in recent years (Control, Cyberpunk, Far Cry, etc), it makes this Madden 17 refresh feel stale.

- The "music" is awful. Madden used to have a blend of different genres from relatively popular musicians. Now it's all terrible rap.

- The videos you'll see on the steam page are from the upgraded console version of the game. Inside an actual match, this game looks identical to Madden 21 on PC.

- Many of the faces in the game look terrible. The custom faces/skin tones are the exact same as previous years and still look like crap. The faces barely look human for some of them.

This feels like the exact same game as Madden 21 with a new UI over the top. In many ways it actually feels worse. The menus in particular. Also, not getting access to "next gen" features on a PC that is more powerful than any console is just insulting.

$60 roster update again (no pictures for rookies though). EA is really putting the minimum amount of effort into this series. The only thing that gives me hope for the Madden series is that EA's exclusivity agreement with the NFL ends in 2026 so it's possible that some competition could be introduced and EA finally gets their ♥♥♥♥ together and puts some kind of effort into this series again.

I played this game for free and I want a refund

Honestly the facts that they put no effort into the pc version really saddens me, dont buy this game just by 21 or 20, there pretty much the same.
The fact that you dont give the pc edition the better movments and ui and etc that the new-gen consoles have, people dont spend $1,000 + on a pc just to get left behind because you dont want to put the effort in, if you dont care then dont put the game out on pc, or at the very least take more time and release it later so we have the same experience
