Best single player franchise Superstar abilities by position?
Bought this game recently on sale and I'm just wondering what superstar abilities you guys find are the most effective in single player franchise mode, per position. (Since you can edit X-Factors and abilities in this title.)

I have no interest in MUT or any of that Pay to Win ♥♥♥♥, just wondering what you guys like for superstar abilities in franchise mode.

Thanks for any replies.

Even though this link references MUT, is the same abilities:

https://www.mut.gg/abilities/

The Elite Abilities are the ones which are seen as the best of the best. Route Technician and Acrobat are two abilities on both sides of the ball which can be game changers.

On the defensive side, some other good ones:

Inside Stuff
Under Pressure (but depends on what the opposing QB has as abilities)
Pick Artist
Deep Route KO

Offense, some other good ones that are not Elite:

Fearless
Omaha
Double Me
Protected

In "regular" Madden. You can adjust your abilities per game. So you should look at your opposing team, see what they have and pick abilities that can either counter or give you an edge. Sometimes your typical abilities may be countered by your up coming opponents abilities.

It's a bit of a chess match so just try a few out...

Thanks for the reply.

honestly i never thought i would like mut, but if you like playing madden and grinding ♥♥♥♥, ive gotten to a 94 ovr denver theme team in like maybe 80 hours of challenges. And the bums with 98 ovr paid for teams are usually trash on offense. You can easily beat a high rated player if you know how to play.

I actually grinded out Madden 18, I think, whichever one was the first one back on PC since nearly a decade. And while I sort of had fun with it, in the end I realized it was a chore due to the fact that EA does the same ♥♥♥♥ with MUT every year (ie gradual overall cards through the year, mix mash on players for your personal theme team, rinse and repeat each title).

Just one grinding MUT title put me off of that mode forever.

Honestly I wish they brought back coop. Some of my fondest memories of early 2000's Madden was playing with my friend on the same franchise team. Taking turns lead blocking with lineman and either one of us played RB, running custom routes while the other passed, playing a rusher while the other was in the secondary, etc. Good times.
