Regarding Antivirus Software Reports Game as Malicious
I received multiple reports about some anti-virus software that reports the game's execution file (Game.exe) as malicious.
However, I am almost quite certain that's a false alarm.

I can think about the possible reason why that antivirus software is confused.
It's most likely the technology behind this game is a bit too complex to them.
The game is made with RPG Maker XP, Encrypted by RPG Maker VXA, and enhanced by its DLL which provides a bit higher version of Ruby script language.
To further increases the performance, I am using RGD's game.exe file made by invwindy
and ♥♥♥♥ both are respected members of the Chinese RPG Maker community. Although, I don't have the source code of RGD. But, I trust them.

More information here:

And here is RGD's official website:

invwindy and many other members of the Chinese RPG Maker community also publish their game using the same techniques on Steam. This problem is very well-known among game developers who use RGD. However, there is not much I can do on my side to convince the antivirus software except...throw those companies whose software claims this game as malware some letters.

In the end, it's ultimately up to you to decide.
I perfectly understand your concern. Thus, please feel free to refund the game if you have doubts.

Update: I rolled back RGD to an earlier version which appears less hated by anti-virus software.
We still have some anti-virus software that hates us. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/74d4dba0d62941ea7ff356e12876e2488e63a16c4b80999e5e7591f9507254df/detection

Rolling back the exe file further appears not ideal and may render the game unfunctional.

Update: I am contacting a few anti-virus software companies on the list to fix their mistakes.

Update: Microsoft has confirmed the false positive

The number of anti-virus software that reports the game as malware is now reduced to 16 from 25.

Update:
4:54 am Feb 7th local time.
The number of anti-virus companies that mark my game as malware is further reduced to 13.
It seems that it does not take much time to verify this game is not malware when I can get the file on their verification query.
I need more coffee to continue.
As so many experts from those anti-virus companies have confirmed the game is not malware.
I'm quite certain, my trust in my friends who develop RGD is quite correct.
However, as I also hold the responsibility to my players, I need to be absolutely sure.

Update:
It's down to 8.
Most major anti-virus companies have confirmed this game is not malware.
Mcafee and 360 may need to take much longer than expected.
It's not just about me or this game. It's about everyone who uses RGD.
So, I think it's the right thing to do.
