Another option could be just picking up items when the player character or Zombot walks over them - not sure which option would be easier to get into the game here...
This is what I would like to see. Automatically pick up items.
Well, then what's the point of letting us scrap anything useless in our inventory in one go, and not forcing us to scrap each item individually?
Anyway, changing the Zombot to some kind of area looting machine might be a problem, but giving the player character that option should be possible at some point in the future...
Well, why are you playing games here on Steam, when you could be playing Boardgames without using a PC or Laptop?
Or why are you playing a game, where you're using Zombots for pretty much any work around/for your shelter?
what a bad comparison.... so they craft everything for you? they explore for you? they run around hacknslash everyone around you? they do the story for you?
guys change key to something on your mouse or a better key, if you complaining about picking up items is to much of a challenge then maybe you should play boardgames
Well, the option for area looting is in many "hack & slash" games for years now, Zombots can explore areas either through sending them there or placing a pylon and increasing the pylon radius, and they do tend to kill anything that wanders into their sight.
Last but not least, i'm not the one complaining about the request of adding a reasonable Quality of Life change to the game, and unless you actually disassamble all the useless items you pick up during your journey one by one, you don't really have a leg to stand on here...
End of line.
If you don't have a fancy mouse or a controller then you're stuck to rebinding to any other key.
Long press E could pickup all surrounding items is also a great solution if they implement it.
P.S. Moff is a terrible community member.
This would be a good compromise. In 7 Days To Die, you can hold E down, and it sort of gravitates the items into your reticle and picks them up.
Also, I can tell. Moff has some pretty weak takes. I've seen him around.
