Steam Deck Support?

Will the game be playable or fully supported on the Steam Deck? I made the mistake of buying it and it wont even start on my Deck, i get an immediate crash report.

At this time it's a no; the devs have stated they have no plans to support Steam Deck at the moment. We've tried everything from Proton Experimental to 7.0.6 to GE as well as the Beta and Preview firmware channels to no avail.

There's been talk that it's something to do with the textures not being compatible with the Deck; if that's the case we potentially may be a long ways out for a fix.

Using an exotic texture format could also explain the crashes on Windows. I imagine stuff like that hits not-so-well-tested code paths in the graphics drivers.

Guess I'll be refunding the game I only use my steam deck guess they dont like money lol lol

Edit: I checked out the other community post asked about, the video in that thread the guy was using GE-Proton7-49. I took 7-49 for a spin in game mode and desktop mode and... it was much much worse. 7-9 dosent even make it to the team logos, it just infinitly spams the Error dmp.

Confirmed (also posted in linked thread). 8, 9beta, experimental and ge8-32 all work fine. latest steamdeck OS. 45-50fps average.
