Is there a way to get more zombots?

In the level up screen it refers to zombots in the plural sense in several different areas but I can only have one, is having more than one something I'll unlock later or is it just poor wording?

i think the faq says you can have 2 with you and each of them can have 2 more, for a total of 6

Be aware though the chain ones, ones your zombot add, you can't customize actions/gear.

Yep you should make your two main ones ranged and their 2 extra summons will be melee with no weapons.

I have three total. Only the OZ (Original Zombie) gets armor though. With the correct skill choices, you can have up to three if I am correct. Mine self rise at 5 seconds and have full health and health regen.

as others have said. u have 1 with the two cchain skills aka 2 minions. as u progress u will get a 2nd zombot u can modify and then u with chain skills get 6 including the minions

You are correct. I just got my 2nd ZB. Problem is that he carries a Boomerang and won't switch out o the claws I'm trying to get him to hold.

*edit* Gave both my OZs a certain weapon as somebody already said. Good God!
