Not bad (My Opinion)
A friend linked it to me and said check this out and I did. Its really not that bad of a game. It was pretty fun, exploring around finding new things and so on wasn't boring at all. The density of the mobs and how close they were felt good.

However, this is where more of my opinion comes in. I really do hope they add a difficulty slider or maybe things are boosted in the demo, I'm not sure. Once you get the first couple upgrades in the weapons. Nothing seems to be really that much of a challenge.

Yes I know that some players don't like to beat there head on a brick wall of difficulty, they like to have fun instead of always dying or being "to hard". Then again there is players that like more of a challenge.

Over all. I really liked the game, I like the goofy stuff in it, the story of it so far, the little manuals laying around. it was an overall good game. Differently will be purchasing this game.

Yes needs difficulty settings or bare minimum new game + that's way harder, something like that. I had a lot of fun but I need more challenge.

similar thoughts. this one is a gem!
Surprised I had fun. From the trailer, I was worried it would have the borderlands syndrome where someone was constantly talking at me while I was trying to play. Actually turned out to be a rather peaceful jaunt after the beginning.

Few things, I would like to see.
*Drop the pointless loot drops of identical weapons.
*Accelerate the zomb loot picking up speed.
*Have camp crafting use camp storage.

The real difficulty seems to have been hinted at with enemy density. Trumpeteers are a hell of thing that makes you really want to use your zombot as a decoy or a fleshmower. It's also quite fun how they make absurd comedy with the zombot equipment, but also force you to change up your playstyle, with the Heavy Armor Zombots, Beehive Zombots, and the different equipment they can have.

They could have a formal crafting table at the base that will access all of your available materials, to differentiate it from on-the-go crafting. Could even have exclusive recipes.

Agreed, this was surprisingly good. Im so used to games being trash, this was actually enjoyable.

I dont agree with the difficulty part though, yes the game is pretty easy at the moment, but how can you make it more difficult?
if you just increase the enemies health, you ruin the fun, bullet sponge enemies are the worst form of difficulty.
I think density is a good way to increase the difficulty, but not a perfect solution, in reality more enemies doesnt make it more difficult, like when you had to get the sheets for the rocket, I just stood still and shot the air pistol at them and wiped both of the areas with only getting hit like 3 times.

Honestly, what I was hoping for was having more than one zombie in my party. Just one seemed super limited given how many options you have. Other than that it was just mostly AI issues where your own zombie doesn't know how to actually use a gun and instead charges in to slap them with it versus remembering how to fire it.

As for difficulty, I thought the highest level zone was a pretty good indicator (zombies with specialized gear that you have to switch your equipment up to counter) but like I said tactics are very lacking rn given how much dumber your pet zombies are versus the enemy AI.

I was also hoping for more zombie customization, I was kinda disappointed when capturing a zombie autoconverts them to just one single zombie type wearing only different colored suits regardless of which zombie you choose to capture.

It's a chill, relaxing game but the janky WASD movement system disinclined me to keep playing. Of course I completely realise it's an EA demo, but even at this point please, at the very least, implement a point n' click movement system as well.

I realized how bad the moving was when I couldnt get through one of the gates for the quest to build the landing pad. it had me all messed up and took about 1 min to finally get the right angle to get through. So I will agree the WASD is a bit janky.
