Does it run on win10?

Just found my BIA&BIA:EIB retail cdrom that i bought like 10 years ago. I was able to install them into my win10 pc. but nothing happened at all when i tried to start the games, not even in compatibility mode.
I was wondering with latest updates whether the games could run on win10?
Also, steam cannot activate my ancient cdkey, did i have to buy the steam version to get the updates?

If you got the old Retail versions (from release), then you have to search for the patches online.

And EiB runs on Win10. I'll try the first one. Wait a sec.

Edit: Runs as well. You need to put both into compatibility mode WinXP SP2 and run as admin.

i tried these patches but they both came up with this error message:

Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match.

then i found some more patches at: http://patches.ubi.com/
but the results were all the same.

I filed an issue on ubisoft's website. but maybe they are more than happy forcing me to buy the games again.

Yeah, config Image to 2K and settings en very high

Thank you for your reply! I bought the whole collection on Summer Sale. Beside that one time BIA crashed right after prelude, all 3 games went pretty well.
I'm going through the stories again now. These games are real pieces of art. UBI really had it back then.
