Can't fulfil black/white fish with 3 spots

I just can't figure out how to fill up the 3rd page with the black fish with 3 white spots and white fish with 3 black spots. I have made so many of them with 3 spots of the right color, but the book doesnt accept them. Do they have to be perfectly in the middle or perfectly round to pass? Or is this a glitch?

The shape and portions have to be the same. The Koi do not have to be exactly identical. Check out the community articles on breeding. It may help. This is a simulation that takes lots of time and patience to get results. Don't give up. One can make some beautiful Koi even with the limit of 3 colour combinations.

Just keep breeding your spotted fish and eventually you will get the pattern. yes it is a specific pattern and not a glitch. I think breeding in the thunderstorms helps make that pattern you are looking for.
