Things I wish I had known before I started
After my first run in Normal.

* You can only retreat during the preparation phase
* The number of turns does not matter. You can pass as much as you want. The independents weakly attack one in five stale turn.
Corollary: money is an infinite resource.
* Skills that add delay are essential for the toughest fights in the game.
* The heroes gain troops after participating in a fight, objects allow to accelerate their recovery.
* Troops can be upgraded to 9999 with money. After that you need MVP
* You can get 80% of the trophy with the first game
* Sambhala: The toughest fights in the game.
* At the end of the game, it is more important to limit the number of the opponent's Point Brave than to do damage (= inversion of the weapon table)
* Units that were useful at the start: Protagonist, Yoshitsune, Benkei, Date Masamune, Montezuma, Geronimo (Waifu)
* Useful mid-game units: Achilles, Yoshitsune, Alexander, Ashoka, Arthur, Palamedes, Alwilda, Kamehameha
* My most useful end-game units: Achilles (damage), Atlas (Delay), Siegfried (Tank), Palamedes (Steal Brave point), Gilgamesh (Dmg + Delay), Himiko (Heal), Ashoka (Waifu + Dmg) , Jeanne-Darc (Seal on Crit with an item), Jiang Ziya (with 2 specifics items, for Brave generation first turn)
* Enemies rarely use Status Effects
* a Hero with a lot of speed like Achilles can turn on you as they consume a lot of turns and quickly take you to the limit of 50 (Shambhala 6)
* Fusion: some items are unique (only 1 possible)
* Fusion as soon as you can, so you can get the trophy. I missed 2 items at the end of the first run, which I was able to have in NG + in a few turns (2 soma needed, and ingredient was buyable in store).
