I can't launch BF2042 in my computer

I bought BF2042, installed, created a new EA account, loaded but can't launch the game, what is the problem?

it is the EA App you need to fix / update

by launching BF2042 on Steam, the EA App might auto-update in background when starting BF2042, and sometimes it corrupts and all EA App's .exe files are gone ..

and ::

EA AntiCheat has got a update yesterday. Traverse to:

..\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat

Launch:

EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe

And update EAAC, but be careful, it might corrupt the InstallDir location. So you need to repair this service afterwards to setup the correct InstallDir again ..

repair EA App
check if your dGPU is running for 2042, not your iGPU

go to ea.com and try to install the app and it will prompt you to repair, if that doesn't work update ur drivers

I swear... ever since EA switched from Origin, there are always problems...

Also... it has been YEARS since the switch. WTF.
