If my team carries more than half of the team on it's back - we lose, because even in 32v32, 4 man team can only cap \ defend \ cause so much havoc.
Unlike a single NightBird guy who can single-handely, without that many threats remove all enemy armor and \ or kill plenty of infantry, MORE THAN A 4 MAN TEAM.
Jets can't cause 1/10 of that havoc and surprisingly are still easier to take down.
Tanks? Don't even get me started on that. You show up in a tank, you're getting hit from few sides the moment you show up on any exposed (or next to any elevation, really) position.
Infantry? Like I said, 4 man teams can kill less than NightBird over 10 minutes.
Oh, and infantry can't suddenly turn on invincibility because they crouched.
This is so absurd I can't even fathom what is going on through your, or NB designers heads.
This ♥♥♥♥ is so ridiciolous, a man got stream-bullied just because he played NB. And until the very "dickest" thing they've done, most will applaud the bullies. Why? Because the dude finally felt what it is like to get his fun trashed by something he can't win against.
Transport helis can't really do much against Wildcat, y'know, designated AA vehicle. Good.
Combat helis can go toe-to-toe with them, chances are somewhat even. Stealth helis also, with skilled crews on both sides the hunt might go on even for 15 or more minutes.
But then, enter the NightBird. Smallest, supposedly least tough heli made for direct infantry support which can somehow succesfully bully half the server, incl. armor and dedicated AA.
And then walk it off into the sunset. Because either someone at DICE really loves this heli being OP or they are afraid of the "running almost only NightBirds" streamers backlash.
Stellar ♥♥♥♥♥♥' design.
you can shoot down blackbird with a Lis's rocket in one shot
one guy with AA is pretty useless as you only have 3 rockets and they replenish flares too fast, but getting three people with AA is pretty much impossible but it would get the job done
1337 Lis AA hunters are almost as rare as 3x Stinger AA and somehow devs haven't accounted for that. So whenever good NB pilot shows up, the whole match gets ruined for one side.
Nightbird is so nimble it can change direction in a heartbeat, and because of the firepower it has you as an AA are in big trouble if others in your team are not helping you. It's crazy how much damage it does, I've seen it killing a tank within a few seconds all the while I'm shooting at it and doing pretty much nothing. And yes, I do use the machine gun primary weapons on Wildcat. It's easier to drop with an sniper rifle than with AA, and even that needs a lot of luck.

Not sure I understand your argument. Of course a skilled player in a vehicle is going to be able to out perform an enemy on foot? multiple enemies on foot? that's the point? Vehicles are ultimately what set BF games apart from other shooters and in this game I'd argue they're the weakest they've ever been.
Complaints about the Nightbird? what game mode are you playing? I don't think I've ever seen one dominate a match since the early days when the rockets actually used to do damage. And if they're dealing with vehicles that means they have AGMs equipped so either they are snipers with the 7.62mm Miniguns (very high skill) or are using the 20mm Cannons for infantry (which can kill about one person on foot per overheat realistically) - the trade off there is they are extremely vulnerable to other air if they don't have the Miniguns equipped.
It seems like everyone who complains about how OP they are have never actually taken the time to use them.
SOFLAM + Rao + any one of the 1000 engineers = no more air vehicles. The exception to this is the stealth helicopter which you can balance flares + stealth to remain alive for a long time, but then you have no self repair and ultimately have very little hit points with a slow health regen. Every other air vehicle has one set of flares - if they're being popped the air vehicle has to retreat and cannot actively output any damage so even if you're not killing them they don't have time to be effective.
I have T1 with the Hannibal and the Wildcat so speaking from both sides it's much easier to deal with air than it is to play it. If you are struggling to kill any of the air vehicles in a Wildcat with 30mm AA (or any of the vehicles with 20mm Flak (even LATV4 now) then I don't know what to say but the game has included a plethora of tools to deal with air and if used they're extremely effective.
The point is that I’m playing bf with my friend and we can take down every single vehicles as we both play engineer class and we rock them with M5, but NB is really pain in the ass that gets us killed more than all other vehicles combined, and we can’t really do ♥♥♥♥ about it other than being a moving target. This week we are all in Infantry breakthrough and it’s really relaxing to play without that birdy.
