Blue Screen Of Death(BSOD) Crush
Hey all,
I've tried to launch BF2042, and every time I launch the game, it gives me a blue screen of death and restarts my PC. It just happened out of nowhere. Two days ago, it worked just fine for me. I would really appreciate any help to fix this issue. Do you guys know why it's happening and how to fix it?
I haven't had any Windows updates or driver changes in the past 2 days.

Get the error the BSOD gives and that'll help find where the issue most likely is, because you likely wouldn't want to re-download the game nor use EACs repair feature if it's needless.

Do note this game is also heavy on a lot of CPUs, so you'll want to make sure your CPU&GPU are not hitting high temperatures especially since when loading it can use a majority of your CPU. If you have an OC profile you can boot with the non-oc profile as well to see if it's unstable.

Note since nobody is saying it... its due to running the game with overlocks since last major patch the game bluescreens if you run any OC,s

Hey, thank for the reply
And I heard something about OC but I’m not using no OC, not on the CPU or GPU..

Could you upload your minidump file?

Its kind of difficult because the BSOD is restarting my PC really fast, im unable to see due to the message been so fast, tried video but even then its to fast to get the error massage...

I use BlueScreenView to see what error was after pc restarts, I've download it from nirsoft dot net, so when you have a chance download it, run it and tell us what was the bsod name, also you can right click on the error and do search on google straight away to learn what was it. I think that your CPU is hitting wayyyyy to high temps and that's why you pc shuts down. I know your CPU is not OC like mine but temps are everything. When was the last time you cleaned fans blades and radiator for any dust build up?

Any updates on when we will get some help?

This game is no longer supported. There will be no patches for anything. It's running on auto.

Don't forget that nothing ever truly uninstalls. There are usually left over files and registry keys left over. You would actually need to uninstall and then delete the directories manually and then run a a program like Cclean to get everything off.

Ok since you have 14th gen i9 I would update BIOS first as this was pointed many many times for crashed even if your temps were fine.
