TAA anti-aliasing
Is there any way to turn this garbage off? Im playing on 1080p and it makes long range and sometimes mid range spotting so difficult. Tried playing on friend's 2k monitor with 120% render - better but still blur is noticable.
What is the reason behind forcing it always on? TAA is useless function for competitive shooter,it eats up FPS and makes image blurry inless you use 4K resolution, but at 4K you dont need any anti-aliasing.

no, sadly there's no way to disable this trash...
That said, the best way to play (sharpest) is with TAA low and chromatic aberration disabled

you can in nVIDIA CP, with AMD I think you're stck

another setting you can calibrate if the monitor supports it is the sharpness setting that's built in-to the monitor, via the OSD

I tried forcing AA disabled even with nvidia inspector, sadly no luck. Can you point exactly what settings i need to adjust to disable TAA?

Im using benq xl2411k the sharpness slider always at max, still not enough.
I used reshade before AC update to increase it further, but now i dont want to risk.

nVIDIA CP/Manage 3D settings/Program Settings/BF2042/Antialiasing - Mode/Off

I have sharpness at minimum, and AA off

note for above, sometimes i've had issues with editing nVIDIA CP settings by Program Settings, and resolved it by changing & then using the 'Global Settings' instead

It only affects motion blur and world lighting.
I do have these in my usercfg already.

TAA+sharp = best anti-aliasing
