Is cheating a prevalent issue in this game, similar to previous Battlefield titles?

As people have pointed out time and time and time again, nearly every single one of those devices piggybacks on official hardware (like controllers) making them undetectable currently and so far for the foreseeable future. This is why a lot of anti-cheat systems meant to try and detect console cheaters instead do stuff like track how movements are made, but this is imperfect and already defeated by some of the more top-tier hacks. Most anti-cheats also focus on PC, so console anti-cheat systems actually are lagging behind... again another reason why they're so popular now.

So you're free to say whatever you want to say, the objective fact given all current context is that it's both easier and safer to cheat on consoles.

Now, you can argue there might be less cheaters on console, which is possible, but since it's also far header to detect cheater on consoles, who really knows.

The things you mentioned are indirect software detection and things I ALREADY pointed out. Mousetrap exists because they CAN"T detect the hardware, and it sucks. It's REALLY easy to get around, or at least it is now; once, it was doing a good job. CoD anti-hacks efforts including their anit-macro are a joke and routinely made fun of by Chinese cheat firms. They only work against the most laziest of people, normal folk who are literally just trying to use keyboard or general software micros. Fortnite varies greatly but from what little I've read and seen it's such a huge game that there are tons of cheats for it and seemingly Epic doesn't care because there are so many players that it's hard for individual ones to tell, and you know, kids won't be able to do anything about it, let alone go on a forum to intelligently complain about hackers.

You're also haven't actually done anything to prove how it's easier or safer to cheat on PC, and guess what? Both anti-cheat makers AND cheat/hack makers have BOTH admitted it's easier and safer on console, lmao. Like I said, since hardware devices literally require an official controller to be plugged in, making them mostly undetectable, that's already a huge degree of safety compared to PC. Many console hacks are also not actively tracked the way they are on PC (hence why many anti-cheats on PC are so desperate they're going kernal-level now).

There was no PC level version of the Elden Ring demo due to fear of datamining, yet ironically, it was done on the PS4 and though it was a bit harder (datamining in general is) the ironic thing is the dataminers said they probably got more than they would have from a PC version because of how the PS4 game was structured.

You're just waving your hands and waggling your hips and saying "My word is reality" without actual evidence or the benefit of at least logic.

So if you're really done suffering fools, I'd ask you to kindly stop staring blankly into a mirror. Arrogant ignorance like yours is part of the reason why the world is such a miserable place.

I gave clear examples in 2 posts of examples.
They can also only cheat on old firmware of ps4, which is how they loaded the game to look at it.
They cant cheat on current firmware on ps4 or ps5 or Xbox series or xbox One.

Mouse trap is triggered by DETECTION, if it wasnt DETECTED then how would it know to apply the extra latency?
It's not fixed, there is still delay, and you can barely use it on Siege.
You are misinformed and dont know what you are talking about.

Everey enemy who kills me looks like a cheater. But, the netcode/serverperformance is just bad. When u see the enemy is fireing on you, for him u are already dead. But, this is EA/Dice's Battlefield in 2024.

Yes, there are paid cheats and console devices that allow you to gain unfair advantage in this game and yes, players will use it, if they are not worried about bans or suspensions, even if cheat makers are increasing prices of certain cheats there are players who will pay just so they can continue the cheating, similar to a drug addict who can't stop using the drugs, or just players who want to be "better" than others through use of these programs or even people who get paranoid that everyone is cheating and just want to be on the same level as majority, it's a complex subject but saying that cheating is on the lows is not the brightest thing to say when we all know the facts since we play this game.

I've seen some obvious cheat users, like ESP and silent aimbot, mostly random nicks with numbers and letters - throwaway accounts, and few Cronus users but the hardest ones to combat are the macro users and that is a constant battle between devs and anti cheat makers and the cheating industry.

there are cheaters, the last 2 days, i've had 1 to 3 cheaters in a couple of games, 1 game, he had 2 kills and 87 assists, the last game i played, quite a few of the other team had no deaths with 20+ kills
