Disable future frame rendering if an option. BF2042 tends to have high CPU usage.

is 90% cpu usage bad ? because i dont see any performance issue i have clean 60fps i was just wondering because i never seen so high without this future frame i dont think i can get 60s fpa

I would be more concerned of CPU temperatures than usage. High CPU usage can be normal depending on if its a PC or laptop, what kind of game it is, etc.

BF2042 used to not have high CPU usage but nowadays it does. I wouldn't be concerned so long as your cooling is sufficient and you're getting decent enough frames. 60fps average means you're doing fine.

temps are fine around 60-65

That's normal, don't worry about it

high CPU usage is a good thing means its actually being used!!

If u had high CPU and low GPU usage u would have a CPU bottleneck or low cpu and high gpu u might have a GPU bottleneck

cpu is 75-90% gpu almost always 100% but i dont know exactly the rivatuner doesnt work in bf2042 sadly

If you run FPS uncap and have a good GPU your CPU will be 90%+ in any BF game since at least Battlefield 3. Frostbite is insanely well multi threaded and will use many cores. Most games will max only 1-2 cores with the rest significantly lower.

the 15th is releasing soon, it's a different architecture it's not i3 i5 i7 i9 anymore, it's 3D technology it's a big change. meanwhile 14th is a refresh of 13th.

BF2042 is unplayable on a i5 8400 +2080ti, 100% cpu all time, gpu 45% and a lot off stuttering, sad...

Yeah, 90-100% CPU usage is totally normal for this game.
I play on Ryzen 5800 and when I play on 120 fps on conquest 128 I also have 90-100% usage.
Computer + monitor consumes 700 Watt. Other than that, the game performance is just fine.

Try to limit your max fps. You can do it via nvidia control panel. Add BF2042 to the list of the games there and set max fps for it.
