Didn't realise that increasing FOV increases accuracy. Sounds like you may have found a secret mechanic which needs trying out.
Good to hear that the spread is going to be fixed. On some guns it is really bad now and noticeable.
I have noticed something strange - to me - when using AR's that when I crouch the reticle becomes bigger as opposed to when I stand normally. This is the wrong way around right?
You would think that crouching should tighten the accuracy by making the players base more stable so the cross hairs should shrink but the opposite is true.
Hey Powerplaya27,
Increasing your FOV gives less visible recoil. You want to increase it as much as possible before it hinders your ability to spot enemy players. My FOV is set at 84. Also using sights/scopes around x1.5 has a massive difference in visible recoil over 3x and 4x scopes and sights for example. Definitely try it out and you'll see for yourself.
Increasing your FOV is the same in Warzone and all FP shooters. -

meanwhile about FOV, default is 55, I lowered it to 50 (minimum), because the image doesn't warp like this. recoil will be the same whatever FOV or resolution you play, really it's about getting the right mouse settings & maybe learning the 'uniform soldier aiming' setting which is implemented as default now (since update).
Thanks Jez, good point re hipfire vs zoomed in with the crouch/reticle thing I mentioned.
If I see it happen again i'll post what gun it was. Def. was an assault rifle.
RE: FOV Wow, just played with 100 FOV soldier on foot and it really does make hitting targets easier. No doubt about it. Funny thing is, I always thought pro players used 100+ FOV because it gives more sight on your sides but I think it's the visual recoil benefit which was in the jackfrags video.
LMG was like a laser when running 100 FOV so thanks for that dyn4mo.
