Slow Motion Bug is still here.

I've been playing this game off and on since launch, and I have repeatedly had the slow motion bug happen where my player character and actions are slowed waaaay down making the game unplayable. I have tried ever common fix I could find for this and have had no luck solving it. The worst part is that it isn't an issue 100% of the time. This issue has been in the game since launch please address this.

This also happens to me! Its so annoying. Somehow i made it to play more than 100 hours lmao

Specs are Threadripper 1950x 48gigs of ddr4 @3000mhz 2080ti needless to say in 2023 but it is on an ssd. This issue has persisted across 2 different CPUs, none of my components are at 100% utilization. This occurs both when I have things open in the background and without them open.

As far as I can surmise it isnt a network issue as everyone else in the lobby moves as normal.

You can immediately tell if it will be a problem for the match because as soon as you join a match you start slowing down

Than I’d say it points to a security/permissions/restriction issue/issues
You can still have a restricted network and experience your exact above
Without being able to see the exact slow mo
Windows 10 or 11 and version??

It isnt hitting 100% it hovers around 80%, its a dual channel setup.

Just curious firstly but what is your internet speeds ? Ookla speedtest is a good try
From what I see you are receiving the right amount from the server but your input that is being sent back should be 250-500kbps
Whereas you are only getting 100kbps and under
Hence a slow speed assuming, I don’t know a lot of technical lol, ideally you want 500kbps download and 500 upload

Is trying a direct Ethernet possible ?
Another test presuming would be to try rush 16vs16 as it should require less bandwidth and see if slow motion occurs even than, I’m mobile atm so can’t test much pc wise

Unfortunate no on the Ethernet; router is not in an accessible place.
Im averaging 20mbps down 18mbps up with a ping of 56. My internet does tend to have intermittent issues (small town provider). Im just curious why only this game is affected. Thanks again for helping me work through this.

Other games can handle slower speeds no problem and require less, but your speed should be fine anyhow, assuming you play other games like rainbow siege and csgo fine
Is your network type set as private ?
Add 2042 to anti virus and firewall exceptions
Is your nat type on strict moderate or open?
If you know how possibly port forwarding 2042 may help

But before that if applicable, try resetting your router if possible

Depending on your router, if you aren’t the only one on the wifi, some routers have a priority level, putting your device 1st and rest below should make your device ensuring pc receives optimal connections before the rest

I've just done that, still working through the other suggestions following. As well as a config file that !brec suggested, but was not posted here. Even if these work I'll probably have to play over a day or two to make sure it is 100% resolved as it is an intermittent issue. Cheers
