You can't turn off other people's aim assist. And you can't play this game anymore without crossplay unless you like sitting in a lobby by yourself.
There is such an option.
You changing your claims doesn't invalidate my reply to your original statement.
Yes, you can't play the game when you turn crossplay off, because it's a multiplayer game and if you choose a game mode nobody is playing then you'll be unable to play it. What do you expect them to do about it?
The only thing they can do in future BF games is to disable crossplay for ALL players, but then people who play with their friends on other platforms will complain.
It's hard to find an optimal solution for this, really.
Oh and don't forget that a lot of guns get thermal scopes unlocked so that can also aid a players ability on aim.
I don't see this as a ruined game by any means, it is stable apart from my DirectX crashes nearly every time i play but think its a card issue as its happening on other titles too. It has an okay player base but playing against AI on medium or hard difficulty helps ease that and to be honest it's making good of a bad thing that this title was when released, but they have stuck at it and it produces good fun when played. I started playing Codename Eagle that was the base roots for this series and have stuck with it all the way as back in day you were either a cod or bf player when it came to fps. It has been up and down with BF but i have noticed regardless they stick at it and leave a quite well polished game when going onto the next. Heres hoping the next title brings the masses back who knows.
I have 1104h on EA app and have no issues to kill any console player
you dont know where you are....
Dont you realize that PC's players often are cheating?
If you take away aim assist on consoles you pretty much ensure aim bot cheaters which are WORSE than controller, rule the day. people dont think before they ask for stuff. this goes on in every fps game since the dawn of these games.
If anything players need MORE aim assist to combat the cheating.
But the aim assist and tracking also offers a significant reduction in required reaction time over KB + mouse. Allowing them to fire in rection the reticle without having to bother with seeing or identifying the target first or the need to be bothered with tracking the target.
Pair the reaction time advantage with auto tracking and 20-25% recoil reduction it all adds up.
One would think the advantages or dis-advantages and sense of imbalance this brings would be less obvious to new or lower skilled players and increasingly obvious as experience and or skill increases.
I think the recoil reduction for controllers should be removed entirely before considering if any reduction to the aim assist or tracking is needed.
I'm been told this before by other players and friends.
Would explain the really small hit boxes on some players.
I've heard all kinds of nonsense on this forum.
99% of all of it is rubbish.
Some people just have overblown ego and find all kinds of excuses why they can't dominate on the battlefield.
But in the end they are just average players, they just can't accept that.
Did you try to ask the same question to yourself?
