Your next step should be to share what software you were running at the time including drivers. You then should compare what is similar between you and the others who are presumably innocent.
The reason for this is because at times anti-cheats can mistakenly flag innocent software as cheats. It happens more than people think too. Destiny 2 for example once had a short time where people running OBS or Discord were getting flagged by BattleEye because of the way OBS and Discord hook into the game was similar to cheat software. The reason why I also said your drivers are relevant is because this isn't unheard of either. VAC once banned players over their mouse drivers and then like a decade later with AMD drivers that featured "anti-lag" which is meant to reduce input lag.
These sort of things happen time to time. I'm not saying this is what occurred here with the three of you in this thread so far. But if all three of you do have something in common and are all genuinely innocent it is a start and then you could reach out on the official forums, Reddit, and other places to seek out if this also has occurred with others. It's your best bet at getting unbanned and you are doing the entire community a massive favor by saving other players too.
I was running
+ f.lux,
+Logitech gaming software set to persistent profile for bf2042.
+sometimes I start a game before bf2042 stops or I have a game running before bf2042 starts.
+Discord overlay for chat is running sometimes, but discord is running 24/7
+Nvidia 1080 TI
I tried reaching out to forums, they said to send appeals, I tried that they said we confirmed you cheated. I tried the Better Business Bureau we are still going back in forth.
I went to the forums and found many people with similar situation. in the past month and some around my ban time too. I wasn't even banned when I was in game I got banned after shutting the game down while starting delta force.
my kd is 1.37
I even offered them a forensics image of my machine or even remote access.
Discord's overlay is a good starting point and a likely suspect. EAAC (their first party anti-cheat) is very anti-overlay. It also has a history of conflicting with other anti-cheats in the past. Hopefully others respond with what they were running too. Because it could be as simple as this.
Yeah I don't think it was on at the time though :/ but I know discord was running. Anyways I used my three appeals and they said that I shouldn't message them anymore about it.
few know this
