Packet loss in Battlefield 2042 (pl out) using wifi (info)
Packet loss in Battlefield 2042 can be attributed to using Wi-Fi. While convenient, Wi-Fi is prone to interference and signal fluctuations. These factors can lead to an unstable connection, resulting in packet loss. Devices connected via Wi-Fi are often more susceptible to latency issues and poor connection quality, especially in crowded environments or with physical obstructions between the router and the device. This can significantly impact game performance, making the experience less smooth and more frustrating.

for gaming use 5 GHz only, or better latest 6 GHz as well as minimum WiFi 6 and WPA3 encryption. set this in your router settings as well as on your pc/laptop/device ..

disable 2.4 GHz in general. also 2.4 GHz gets disturbed very often and therefore needs to switch channels regularly which causes lag and packet loss of course . . .

5 GHz only + WiFi 6 + WPA3

==> no packet loss !!
==> no lags !!
==> stable high-speed !!

for more safety and security, set your SSID to invisible . . .

additionally, WPA2 encryption can be easily hacked within 10~15 minutes by professionals, and WPA1 just in a few seconds !!
