Well yeah, if you can run the game at 144 FPS it'll be lovely.

Also such screen is good for any game.
I think if you're competitive 24" is probably the perfect sweet spot for 1080p. 27" for 1440p.

My days of playing full on competitively are over so I use a 34" 1440p 120hz ultrawide.

That what I was thinking about ... to buy a 27 - 1440p :)

27 inch on 1080p? Not really good if you're close and want a mostly aliasing free experience. Like in general, not just for Battlefield.
Though with 144Hz you have a good standard for the refresh rate. Although Battlefield is more casual in comparison to some other shooters, you definitely still want that refresh rate and a frame rate to back it up. That is much more important than fidelity. Especially since the fast paced gameplay is gonna keep your busy enough to not look for details.

27 inch 1440p 144hz, or if i wanna be bold, i'll go triple monitor, or bold V2, portrait surround for a "makeshift" 50 inch 4.5k.

That's standard then.
But yeah, up to you and your wallet.
Driving more than 1080p at 120 FPS or more is gonna become a lot rougher, naturally.

oled tv > monitor

I'd say generally incorrect, but the statement is too vague to even gain anything from it in the first place.
In what situation? What monitor (refresh rate, response time, panel type, exact model)?
For still images, a good OLED TV will beat any other monitor in existence, yes (until burn-in kicks in someday).
For gaming, that's a whole different story. OLEDs are actually quite damn horrible when it comes to black transitions. Even worse than VA panels.
Going from black to anything else will cause significant ghosting, or "smearing" since the time it takes to switch the LED back on is significant. This is also one reason phones come with white/light themes by default, despite that being counterproductive for battery and display life.
Assuming you play anything that has any sort of black elements to it, and that's most games, it'll actually be detrimental to your experience.
