Game keeps opening in small window

Anyone else have this stupid issue lately? every time I open the game it opens up in a tiny window on the corner of my screen.. I have to keep adjusting the settings every time I open the game..

Yeah I have it. Only the resolution/refresh settings. Everything else saves. It only happens sometimes.

You just left click on it and it will go full screen. Windows had those focus problems with overlays for the longest time. When you launch the game try not to click anything, because it will loose focus. After few launches it should rememeber the actual settings and go back to normal.

Nah it opens in full screen, in like 720p

Then maybe your PROFSAVE files got corrupted after update? You can delete them manually and restart the game. Of course you will have to redo settings.

Could be but sometimes it opens normally. I just opened it and it's fine. Other times it doesn't. It's the intermittent part that I find most confusing.

It's because game is föcking trash. I have like 20 other games on my pc. Not a single problem like that...

Click on the game, than hit alt+enter( win 10 full screen mode) seems the game doesn’t respond sometimes to it, hence window, it’s been an off n on for me too, it just can’t find native display

Heh. Wait until it resets all of your settings and it will. Just a matter of time. Just happened to me again an hour ago. Remember we're still alpha testing this rushed ♥♥♥♥!

Make sure to copy and save PROSAVE_profile in the documents folder unless you want to configure all of your settings all over again on top of having to deal with the unskippable tutorial ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

You can't skip the cutscene.

Your "Big Brain" ain't gonna save you from the reset settings bug. Hence the suggestion in my previous post, Mr. "Big Brain".

If you use Onedrive or Dropbox it can mess with the saving of settings. BF2042 looks for the settings in documents but these programs sometimes auto migrate to onedrive/documents or something like that every time in syncs, causing the program to remake settings
