Will there be aim assist for PC Players playing with a controller? I really want to enjoy the higher specs of my PC, but I can't play with mouse and keyboard.

Battlefield 4 on PC with controller was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tough...
My K/D on PC was 0.7. On Xbox it was 2.32...

They make mouse + keyboards now that register as controllers instead of mice and keyboards. This automatically activates aim assist in any game that supports controllers due to the game registering the gear as "Controllers".

For example of some, since they're legitimate gaming gear that you can't get banned for.

Razer Huntsman V2 Analog keyboard (This registers all movement as controller)
Razer Tartarus Pro (Gamepad registers all inputs as a controller)
Wooting two HE Keyboard (Also registers as analog controller)
Any Hori Playstation 4 Keypads + mice (since they work on PC but register as controllers)

OR alternatively if you want to, you can buy a Keyboard Mouse Converter, that allows you to plug any mouse + keyboard into it and it auto converts it into controller feedback. (Lots of streamers use this to enable aim assist since it can be hidden from camera view).

i have a Razer Tartarus Pro and to me it's just a small keyboard and i dont think it's a controller.

When you plug it into a game and use analog mode, most games will swap into controller mode. Games like Call of Duty, Fallout 4 for examples. These games also automatically enable aim assist when they enter controller mode. You can use them as normal keyboards if you want. But you can also use them to essentaily cheat.

Well yes, unless your game supports dual input, which COD doesn't, you need a mouse that also reads as a controller. Youll be able to walk around, but not move your screen. Thats why people buy full mouse + keyboard converters.

I remember when they added it to BF1 for PC and I just plugged in a controller and it auto snapped to enemy heads through smoke.

Aim assist as no place on PC.

I really hope they don't add it.

Also K/D in battlefield dosen't matter at all. You can just sit and camp and farm your KD. What matters is your SPM (Score per minute)

I just hope the report system works, and is robust enough that action is taken swiftly when any cheating/TOS breaking players are found.(it wont tho)

Can't agree more. This is one of the reasons why no one plays Halo MCC anymore. Because if you have a controller on PC you have aim assist.

So far I know no one said this so no source. And I believe you won’t be able to turn off the aim assist via server, only threw client.
