Where does one get the CD Key from?

I purchased on steam.

When I click 'Play', origin launches and asks for a CD Key. Where does one find this key?

I spoke to EA support. No use whatsoever.

Their response:

I am sorry, I would have helped you but sadly this issue is from Steam I would request you to kindly contact them and get it resolved. Please let me know if there is anything else, I may assist you with today? I will be more than happy to assist you further.

Hi all , I had this issue this morning , for me the problem was that my steam was linked to a different EA account than the one I was logging into (it only allows you to link 1 steam account to 1 origin/EA account) I resolved this by checking any other accounts i had made on EA with alternate emails , going to the EA direct website and unlinking the other account , then fully restarted PC and all apps and relaunched through steam , it opened battlefield instantly.
