Why do so many fps players hate BF2042 in the year 2024 ??

Since COD:BO 6 released i have noticed a pretty big player drop. Takes way longer to find a server. Its always like that when a new MP-shooter releases. Ppl play it for a few weeks and then return to Battlefield.

game doesnt get the attention from devs that it needs including new games just released + most people who use overclocks get bluescreens now when playing the game since last major upade...

been playing since the very first battlefield. And for the sale it was ok. BUt overall the gameplay is becoming far too hectic, to the point that the devs even advertise trickshots with jets in their main ads. Idk, not wwhat im looking for tbh.

Overall game is still solid nevertheless and with some friends you can get fun out of it.

Just play solo ...to much cheaters for a online battles game ...the game is contaminated with cheaters in other words it is handed over to them

I heard the new BF will be out in 2025. Hopefully, the Devs will fix all of these problems!

It's not a real battlefield game & a disgrace to the franchise. Real battlefield players play BF1, BFV or BF4.

Honestly this game doesn't look great for a new game. Not surprising at all people are playing other games!

The problem is the game itself. Im speaking from my point of view.

I played beta and release. Sure game was flawed lack of content but depending on what you where doing I had fun. Then they nerfed my little bird some of my weapons became useless. Switch to the track car, then they nerfed the wepon on that one.

Played for a while and switch to another game.

Came back after a couple month to see what the state of the game was. Played a little against ai to get use to the little bird controls again.

Played a couple of matches online... no offence but I personally didnt like the chances so much.

Had more fun at release.

Was thinking to look at the discussions to see how the game is doing might be coming back for the little bird but im pretty sure i dont need to install. Pls tell me if im wrong.

They showed the "trickshots with jets" because it was a popular clip from BF3/4 and wanted to pay a tribute to it, not because they wanted every single person doing 360 noscope 420 epic weed sniper shots lol

I would recommend to keep the expectations low, they already failed two games.

Not enough marketing, bad history with dev behaviors, no QOL updates, poor optimization, to me the game is awesome 9/10, but extremely hard to find team mates for, let alone a match without bots, they really need to remove all the 128 lobbies, so there is a healthy population again for 64, but there just isn't any money for the devs to do quality work like that, to calibrate for the smaller population, either remove 128, or remove the XP penalty from coop vs ai and just make it a PVE game

Good luck finding a lobby without some loser using aimbot and wall hacks. EA doesn’t care at all.
