No, I have been having consistent issue with the game. Within the last two weeks of me playing the game I would have to validate it almost twice daily and it is always needing to reacquire the same 3 files

Go for it. It's still a BF game. It did have a bad launch without a campaign, etc., and most of the people didn't change their reviews after the launch. I am enjoying the game quite a lot. The game went from 59% mixed to 71% mostly positive. I don't have any issues, but make sure to edit PROFSAVE_profile because there are some amazing tricks to optimize the game to get the looks and the performance (DX12 is not even ''enabled by default'). I might make a guide. If you want, you can add me on Steam and I'll help you. I am enjoying the game quite a lot. For 4e, you get a massive BF multiplayer shooter. It's a no-brainer if you ask me. You can see my review, it's pretty short, but I covered some important things.

Don't forget that there are people who don't know much about the PCs, so every game is not worth/trash for them. Every game needs to be heavily tweaked. Even if you have an RTX 4090. Not because of the performance, but because of everything. At the end of the day, it's best to try it for yourself. You can always refund. However, as a hardcore BF fan, I advise you to buy/play BF1 first if you never played it. It has a campaign and it's just sick.

safe to say It's an alright Battlefield game if you're burned out of the WW2 genre of the previous titles

Could you help me with those changes you mentioned? My game struggles a little bit and whenever I play co-op with my friend (I only play bots) it for some reasons makes my graphics driver crash and I have to reboot

i played for 6.6 hours and im currently asking for a refund. in general, this seems like its still unfinished. some features that they showed in the official trailers years ago seems to be still missing and they removed some mechanics and other stuff other battlefield's titles always had.

perhaps worth the 5€ i guess, but definitely not the 18€ edition for the dlc maps, weapons and the worthless stuff

its pretty much the same game as battlefield battlebits rising storm. If you are tired of simple run and gun, I would go with BR like pubg squad hunt apex.

I've noticed those files pop up when I validate too, even if my game is running 100% correctly. Are you validating those for any certain reason? Pretty sure they don't need to actually be validated.

Yeah I'd say so. As some have said the launch was rough, but it's alot more stable now.
