It is a connection to EA problem. It will kick you if it looses the connection and it will loose the connection because this is how EA runs this mess.
You can confirm that its not going to work by pinging the ea anticheat server.
Hit windows key and type cmd.exe then enter. Type ping eaanticheat.ac.ea.com then enter
If the response is “request time out” then you can try whitelisting that address if you are using a custom dns service, but beyond that no amount of troubleshooting on your end is going to work until they fix their server.
Update edit: None of that above is relevant anymore. With the last update they both fixed the problem and no longer use that url for the anticheat program.
The solution is to verify local files in steam. It will find three files missing which include the updated version of the anticheat launcher. Once you have those updated three files you will be able to stay in a game without getting bounced out to the menu.
It's now started happening again to me. Game ran fine for a while but tonight I keep getting kicked back to the menu and now every time I have to verify the game files before I can play. Game loads up and I get to play one game. After that I can't join a game but have to verify the game files again.
