No players in lobby

Just bought the game but no matter what the mode I am the only person in the server even with crossplay on. I live in South Africa. Is there something I can do to fix? Feels like I got scammed :(

12k people are on steam alone, i can confirm i have played matches, no scam plus ea is legit as they be sued to the max here if this was the case, not sure whats going on for you, do me a favor and try to play the game mode Multiplayer conquest 64 players visible on the main menu , start there see what happens

I can understand there is a player base. But being in South Africa its not uncommon to not have local servers. But all other games allow you to change servers to one that is populated, even if it is at the loss of ping. The scam comes in where I do not see that option here... Hoping there is something I can do to fix from a settings side of things. Tried all modes and no luck

Have you checked portal servers in your region? In portal section you can adjust filters on the bottom left ("Search"-button), you can select regions there. Make sure to also select to show full servers ("max. free slots")

Just to check if you see servers with players and a decent latency for your region.

I think most players play with crossplay on, turn it on and try again

I've known some South African players who have made friends with North American players just so they can play at all. Since there's no official server browser in 2042 that's basically what you're going to need to do to find rounds. Good luck!

game's been dead since the moment it was launched. if you have less than two hours just get a refund. you'll be doing yourself a favor.

im playing 1vs1 with my boy and it work, it give us exp as well and quest are tracked
