Bf and cod are so long dead the games are so bad
Well at least it works 1000% better than Halo Infinite!! After being a Halo Fan Since Halo Combat Evolved back in 2001. It was heat breaking how 343 royally screwed up that game after being a loyal Halo Fan after all these years sniff sniff. :(
Well it's been a while since the release of BF3. Humm..... I wonder how much longer we will have to wait to see these maps again? Humm.... Something to think about!
Side Note: Would like to see another Battlefield Version Of 2142!
My GOD dude. This video game just cannot let anything be. Go to the house with the red chimney. Found it. Easy. Everything is locked. Can't vault over the fence. Gotta take a massive detour - then I have to solve a puzzle which I could barely even see because I have to play this game with an increased FOV via mod - because the game has no FOV slider - and the default FOV is PATHETICALLY narrow.
Also - mouse sensitivity. I had to tab out of the game to increase the mouse sensitivity in Windows - because the 9 setting didn't do ♥♥♥♥ for me.
This thing is locked. Oh there's a door. Guess what? It's locked. You got the winged key? Oh silly goose - that's only one piece of the key. Locked. Locked. Also locked. This? Locked.
I go to the dollmaker's house. Expecting a confrontation of sorts. Guess what? More puzzle time. We're locking you in a room. Open the doll's mouth? Turn her eye? Three circular plates - one is missing.
I can't anymore.
My GOD dude. LET ME PLAY THE GAME. Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Christ. Just let me play the thing. Why the constant puzzles. Why the CONSTANT locked locked locked locked locked.
HOW am I supposed to enjoy a game that CONSTANTLY cockblocks me at every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ single step. Just let me play and have fun.
I got it for 10 bucks and feel MASSIVELY ripped off.

Some puzzles have just random mechanics without any sense - like shooting bells to move the picture. If you built-in so many puzzles in your game - fine - but at least put some efforts into it and connect it somehow with the story.
Hardly any puzzle in these games makes sense from a logical or practical standpoint. They actually put less effort into justifying them in later games. I mean, a few early RE games at least tried with the explanation that "owner/boss has a fetish for hiding secret passages and stuff with these weird security measures", but other than that...
Village in particular has plenty of nonsense mechanics disconnected from the plot that it never bothers to explain. Like how can Ethan move around carrying crystalized fragments of his enemies' corpses including bosses that are larger than him, or why on earth there's some random dude buying that stuff and selling Ethan weapons and cooking for him in return, or why does Ethan go out of his way to collect treasures or hunt rare animals when he's supposed to be in a hurry to save his daughter... no explanation beyond "It's just a game".
I would love to see Metro again!!
