do cheaters run rampant in this game?

every single gun fight im into my shots do nothing meanwhile i die in 3 shots. literally every gun fight i come across i had to uninstall this they also have so many tools and all this futuristic stuff nobody asked for whatever happened to traditional gun on gun combat?

No. i never saw a cheater in my 4800h playtime.

cheaters are super rare in common game modes, but pretty frequent in Hazard Zone.
so I'm sure you just need to practice more

Yesterday I went up against 4 obvious aimbotters. I wouldn’t say they run rampant, but there is few here and there. I normally don’t run into cheaters but yesterday was a different story. I might have been unlucky with the matchmaking.
But I can def tell when someone is aimbotting and when someone is lucky with sus headshots.

I don't think I would use the word rampant. The worst thus far are in the Infantry only Conquest Servers after 7 pm EST. A lot of sus play from console users, it may be aim assist is set too high and appears funky or maybe running scripts with a Cronus.
Not sure if the console kids get a free pass with no anti cheat like COD or not ?

I can't think of a time I've ran into a blatant cheater. You will, however, run into a lot of IQ deficient individuals. A lot of people that can't aim, can't cap objectives, can't revive, doesn't know how to defuse an MCOM, just sits around with a thumb up their rectum. Lot of paste eaters on this one. I'd rather play with AI for teammates than some of the absolute dummkopfs I've met on this game.

It's a PC game, it's a BF game on PC ... yes there are cheaters.
I would not say they run rampant, there may be times you need to switch game lobbies to avoid them if 3 to 4 of them on one side overwhelm a game. But it's just as likely you'll find a lobby with none. The state of the game seems very fluent because it's an ongoing never ending battle between the creators and distributors of the cheats and the game creators.
To any and all that think or say there are no cheaters in a BF game, I say do a search online for BF cheats and see what comes up. If you want to know what the cheater's can and can't do in any game go to You Tube and search "best cheat menu for" ... fill in the blank. In general for most games in-game reporting does not work because of the layers of AI zen-desk type crap put in place and it takes multiple reports to trigger any response, that crap is mostly window dressing. The best way to report in most games is through out of game reporting. On PC none of this stuff is worth full price and is only worth $20 bucks US on a good day $10 bucks on a bad day and that goes for almost all games on PC.
It is what it is.
It's not going to change any time soon.
The people that create and produce this stuff never intend on playing it, they just sell it.
They need testers to tell them if it even works or is enjoyable, in the end.

There are cheaters but I will argue most people who whine about "obvious cheaters" in this game just have no idea what even is an "obvious cheater".

Have seen two helicopter cheaters last week once. Wouldn't call it rampant, though.
The problem as I see it is EA doesn't ban them for whatever reason.
If you take a look at BF2042 roster, there are a lot of cheaters there, but all keep playing.
Like a guy with more than one MILLION kills with the crossbow.

Cheaters certainly exist, but I haven't seen anything too egregious. Certainly, nothing as bad as BFV's infinite-ammo machineguns that shoot through walls.

Cheaters do exist,especially in Asian severs.I almost meat cheaters in every single game.Interestingly,i could say nearly all of them are Chinese.

At the risk of racism, I'm going to say that the Chinese have a fairly... "unique" outlook on cheating, due to their weird capital-communist hybrid economy and lack of traditionalism. There's an infamous story of students rioting because a Chinese university took steps to restrict and punish cheating on exams.
