the rest of the bf population is in this tittle some play official others use the community servers shown in portal (portal>browse)
Official support for all of these ended years ago. Would make no sense to move away from 2042 to these even older games merely because they're going to stop updating 2042.

Xdefiant will be the next big thing, no other game come close to how good it is, the movement is so perfect, map design is the best ever each map is different and each one is so good, gunplay is amazing, performance is great, balance wasn't too good but they fixed it and they listen to their community, nothing like Xdefiant or close to it or near to it's level.
