CPU usage and TEMPS in game/loading screens
How come that this game is so CPU intensive? I get that there's animations, physics, particles and all that stuff for the cpu to calculate, but it's mostly done by the server not the client, previous Battlefields were much more cpu intensive due to how godly destruction physics were, which isn't the case for 2042.
Game stays at around 70-72 Celsius whilst I'm playing while the gpu is pumping those juicy 160 frames on low settings, that's not a bad temp for a ryzen, especially since I live in a warm country, but once it hits loading screens it easily gets to 300+ frames, making excessive work for the cpu, reaching over 80C simply because dice couldn't put a working frame limiter like in BF1, vsync is trash, Radeon chill causes bad frame times on this game and FRTC doesn't work, so what? Should I bathe my system in liquid nitrogen? Even changing game's graphics to higher settings do nothing but decrease one degree for the cpu overall, this game causes th cpu to work excessively when it doesn't need to.

That really should be priority number one, independent frame rate limiters for menus and in game. They have improved the game drastically and I enjoy it quit a bit but small no brainer things like that they just leave out erk me .

This game makes my pc to reboot because of extreme usage of the cpu.

Your CPU is hitting its thermal limits, that ain't good, this game is a PC killer lol

You are wrong. All calculations are made on the client. The server only validate and update it into the server game state which will be shared to all players.

You should limit your maximum fps to e.g 120, so your cpu has a bit room to breath.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, no wonder why it uses do much CPU, this game seriously needs some optimisation patch b4 bf6 hits

my cpu is 13400 when i play, the cpu usage is almost 100% while the fps is maybe like 70 to 80. I do not know how solve this problem. And ea is suck, I want my charge rifle back

don't we all .?.

with dust filters my CPU & GPU hit 80ish, without it's <75
updating BIOS seems to have lowered CPU temps because when i got it with early BIOS it was hitting 90

Found a way to make AMD FRTC to work with this thing and cap my frame rate, despite that, it's weird how much graphics settings impact on your CPU, not even cyberpunk does that.

High CPU utilization might be because this game is constantly trying to use all CPU cores, but I'm sure it doesn't need to, this is a problem especially for people with entry level processors which usually lack more than 6 cores

Try lowering your graphics aside from textures and texture filtering, any other setting seems to be tied to the CPU
