DirectX Error Crashing

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti", Driver:54633. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.

I have searched this online and have tried a ton of different routes of trying to fix this. Install new drivers, older drivers, change settings in the game files (DLSS value change to 1 instead of 0), etc. I just bought the game and have crashed like 8 times within 2-3 hours of gameplay.. It is basically unplayable with how often it crashes. I have a bunch of crash file dumps but I am unaware of how to make it not a bunch of nonsense values/gibberish. Someone please help it would be greatly appreciated as this game is sweet!

Specs: 1080 Ti SC, i7 8700k, Z370 Prime ASUS Motherboard, 16 GB 3200 Corsair Vengeance RAM, 970 EVO Plus SSD M.2, 850 PSU, NZXT x72 Kraken AIO.

Just did this, crashed within the first 5 minutes of a game I hopped into unfortunately.

run DeBug mode, it sets the card's specs to reference, go nVIDIA Control Panel/Help

Enabled it, I added you on steam if don't mind messaging me about this as well? So now with debug mode on whats that do?

I had this problem a while back and i solved it using the driver studio version

I have this problem as well. Can't play the game. I've spent longer troubleshooting this error than playing the game. Conclusion : this game is a virus

I've tried everything, but this post help me fix the issue, please make backup of the registry key before changing it.

I have RX 570 and it did the same, it crashed the GPU driver ( not the card ).

It got fix'd by re installing the GPU driver

hey it worked before you touched dear not koi, it's not true that I'm going to start uninstalling my pi drivers reinstalling them I had an update I did them then do it otherwise I just won't reinstall
