I have a hard time launching this game

I open it through steam then opens ea app as admin says its launching the game doesn't try this for over 10 times then get it to work and this how I open it all the time, does anybody know a work around?

Open the EA app as an admin first, then start the game from there. The game launches EA app automatically but at least for me the EA servers are never found if I don't open the app and launch the game from there.

Obviously you also need to be signed in to Steam as well

EA app wasnt working correct for many last night and today. Servers are updating. I couldn't launch/login to ea or launch the game.

I had this problem. Fixed it by going into the game files and repairing the ea app.

Go to wherever it is you have Steam and then Battlefield installed. Click on the __Installer file, then Origin, then redist and finally internal. Then you will have an "Autorun" file and "EAappinstaller". Click that and chose to repair the ea app and should hopefully fix your problem.

Steam > Steamapps > common > Battlefield 2042 > __Installer > Origin > redist > Internal > then double click on "EAappinstaller" and chose repair.

Below is the file address that mine was under..

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\__Installer\Origin\redist\internal

non of these fixes work for me. I can't even install the origin app to play the game. It used to work when i had origin but built a new pc and only ea app will download. I tried every single thing you can think of and nothing works.

Origin doesn't exist anymore and haven't for months. EA app is the origin

If you shared what kind of error you get or what happens when you try to launch the game maybe someone could provide some advice. When people say they've "tried everything" they usually haven't because there are dozens or hundreds of different methods for different issues.

the thing is i don't even get an error code. game starts to launch than it just re opens EA app. I talked to two ppl from support and they couldn't even help. they just left the chat after 5 mins. i tried everything they said to do and even went as far to do full system restore.

open tast manager and close EA Background Service than start the game from desktop shortcut it needs maybe like 3 minutes but it works everytime for me

i tried that and everything the support team said. Even did a full windows install and still no luck. Sad a dev support team can't fix my problem. out of the two tickets they just leave the support chat. They don't even know how to fix it. Few other ppl with the same problem. I probably have 1 hour of play time rest is trying to get it to work. wish i could get a refund.

ditto. I can't launch the game even after trying every fix as well. I even tried moving the game off my D drive onto my C drive, running Steam and the EA launcher in administrator mode, disabling all antivirus, and reinstalling the game several times. It just doesn't launch for me.
