Is it possible to disable that terrible EA launcher app?

That thing always have issues / crashes no matter how many times I reinstall the game, I'm on i9 13th gen and 4080

Probably needs it to link up with the EA stuff but you don't need to use the overlay.

the launcher always crashes, " cannot connect to the server " it was working ok yesterday but this is the third time I have issues with that thing, aaand its a totally useless software on top of a product, why is it even there? was it like the school project of the CEO son or something? why so broken

its the replacement for origin, the even worse and more broken app that EA used to use for their games.

Never had any issues but yeah, feels like bloat but it is what it is. It needs it to tie everything together, connect you, authenticate you, spy on you, etc. Anyway, inside the EA launcher, top left corner, click on the three stripes -> Settings -> Application then just disable everything. Or what you don't need I guess.

driver issue, roll back your gpu driver and try to boot.

If u bought this game on ea app you would have only 1 launcher open, zero issues with ea app on its own
