Why are players in 2042 so...dumb?

Honestly this game should have a case study as to the depths of some peoples intellect. I've constantly seen players:

- Look dead at an enemy shooting me, either
A) Runs away and I die
B) Stares at him while running in circles only for me to die and him as well
- Players CONSTANTLY don't know how to drive the simplest vehicles in the game.
- Always gets them stuck or just bail when it takes 1 rocket
- They straight up don't understand classes and what their specialist do
- Medics think it's all about that SMG gameplay and ignore revives
- People blatantly are blind even when I'm spotting people
- No one wants to be in a vehicle even though it's braindead easy to get kills in APCs

Dumb BF ♥♥♥♥ that pisses me off for fun:

- Enemies prioritize me, the guy 100 meters back with no knowledge of his existence instead of him fighting the 3 allies that are literally engaging him at that moment
- I could be on the edge of the map and I'll still get shot from behind, somehow

The bad luck I have in this game is too real but man, teammates are worse than going against a team of sweats. I just want people that can fire off two neurons to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do something.

Didn't say I was carrying games but I am doing 1,000% more than some teammates I have which run vehicles into walls. Stare at enemies shooting me while, I don't know, trying to find the meaning of life or something? The average player base on this game is extremely low, that's what I'm getting at and it's annoying to deal with it.

You know, this been going on since BF 1942, but the issue is not tied to Battlefield, or even games. I'm sure you understand though, you just wanted to vent some frustration.

My suggestion: flip that mindset. Take responsibility for everything, even if you're the #1 player in your team, and your team lose. Blame it all on yourself, and promise you'll try and put in some more effort next time.

some players also have a strategy they try a few times even if means not being there when need them. some are also trying to unlock weapons and attachments and get lost with the frenzy. make a team and have fun. revive those and they will revive you or heal supply ammo something. I was in a match and some dude was 2 kills and like 20 deaths, He must of been medic with boost idk. He was number one spot.

Instead of bashing new players maybe get friends that play the game?

And the only valid thing you can say to someone who is clearly struggling in PvP is to go play against easy bots and mess around in PvE until they are comfortable enough with the mechanics to be helpful to their team.
Sadly 90% of players have Chat OFF by default because it's used by players like you to bash and abuse others.
So you can't even tell them something actually helpful. They probably don't even know how to turn chat on. BF2042s menu is pretty intimidating for a new player as is.
Not that it is a bad thing, it's good to be able to customize your experience. But here we are.

"Part of the problem" Exactly what problem am I being a part of? Am I ruining other peoples days? Me complaining is part of a problem that does what to who? See what you are doing, you are just painting a weird target on me for no reason. I'm doing all I can in games to assist my team but I keep seeing the dumbest things. Sorry for pointing out the obvious? You even said it's pointless because chat is off. Yet I am the problem.

Man, people like you can't do a good counter argument to save their lives. If me coming onto the board to vent is a "problem" than I guess nearly everyone has a problem with trying to win other than 40 IQ jimmy that keeps ramming into a wall over and over again while laughing. He's obviously the one that's not the problem.

Edit: I am going to say it's not illegal to have fun. I do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ every now and then just because. I'm talking about people that literally can't operate the game and have no intention on EVER helping the team. They are off living in their own little weird world that only consist of them.

That dude was definitely playing the objective and just playing support hardcore. I respect those types of players because they are not really in it for the glory and really have to depend on their team to do well. I'm sometimes take that role up for fun but once again, you have to rely on a team. Teams that don't use smoke on REDACTED which IMO is a losing battle so I usually fill in, shame because I do like playing support, either helping players or being obsessed with killing specific vehicles to help my team out.

It's not about coping with a defeat or a victory screen. It's about the lack of competent players on BF. I see now how much you absolutely miss the point of this which equates in your brain to "he just wants to win nonstop." Enjoying the game is subjective especially when 20 Timmy's over there enjoy slamming into the walls while I am not enjoying getting jumped by every good player on the enemy team because our team simply can't function. There is nothing to be enjoyed when the game is absolutely one sided, so that dumbass advice your giving is ♥♥♥♥. You might as well be telling me, "Hey man, you should enjoy getting waterboarded the whole game. Stop trying to dislike the pain of getting stomped on." You see how dumb that sounds?

Man, you come off as a child, fr. Ignore all my points and just summarize it as "crying". Weird stance to take to protect the Timmy's because seeing divisive opinions on BF2042 bothers irl otherwise you wouldn't commit to being in this thread as much as you are.

Abandon every game you are playing when you are losing is essentially how you summarized it up. Most of the time I'm hopeful I can try to pull something out of my ass to win. You have a "give up" mentality when it comes to losing. Sometimes it's a fluke and you can come back or other times the bad players leave. I'm not just going to rotate through games until I find one preferable to me. Both would be a waste of time.

Unlike you, I'll be blunt. You're uncharismatic and kind of come off as a c**t. None of the Timmy's are in here nor will they be because they can't understand how to use the Discussion forum and will they ever be committed to getting good because casuals be casuals. So let the vent thread be a vent thread instead of being some arbiter of what's a valid complaint and isn't. BF2042 has some of the dumbest players I've witnessed in gaming. I want them to get better and try, but they don't because they have no intention too and that is my main issue. They will forever be Timmy's.
