I BOUGHT 2042. But I can’t start it, I’m constantly checking Steam files. Dancing with restoring EA and clearing the cache does not help. What to do?

Try keeping EA app open, goto help app recovery. make sure also you have up to date graphics drivers. Hope to play with you

Same issue. Bought and installed the game via Steam. After launching it starts the EA App and says "preparing game...". Then after some seconds it says "You dont have access" and that some other user might have installed/downloaded the game. EA App and Steam account are linked btw. I tried App recovery, re-login, restart, none did fix the issue

I did, it says its linked, and still same issue.....

i fixed my issue. I did 2 things so i can't tell you which one fixed it:

1. Verifying the installation files on Steam (did not show any errors for me)
2. Go into your Steam installation folder \steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\__Installer\Origin\redist\internal and there is an "EAappInstaller.exe". Run this installer, it will tell you that EA App is already installed and then simply click on repair.

Hope that helps somebody.

In your Steam Library right click on Battlefield 2042 and choose Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files

Котик, если ты купил эту игру, то она есть в твоем EA приложении. Забей ♥♥♥ на стим, просто через него попробуй для начала запустить
Если не получается, то используй свой телефон в качестве модема чисто для входа в игру и потом переключись на свой интернет. Такое тоже может сработать.

the way i got mine to work was i just started the games .exe in the files ,

Same here. The EA app wont even recognize my game.
