Crashing whole system
Since the latest update my system totally crashes during a game. No log to what the error is on windows event viewer, only happens on this game. It's really pissing me off. I have changed nothing in my system, no other game effected, only started to happen after the latest BF2042 update. Everything in my system is up to date, clean driver install using DDU, repaired BF2042 files a number of times, still crashing. Anyone else effected ???

what happens? freeze? display signal? power off?
if you have no virtual disk then it may not save events

Display signal turns off and then my system restarts b itself. Seems to be a problem with season 6 update as I'm not the only one having this same issue. It has to be the game itself as no other game i play causes this.

have you ever modified registry performance values, like 'system responsiveness' etc, if so reset the registry

I had a similar issue, couldn't play for more that 2-5 mins without black screen and system freeze. Reinstalled the game, windows etc nothing helped.

I deleted the entire 2042 directory in "my documents" and verified the files, and it's working again.

Before you play, make sure:
1. go to folder BF 2042 and make setting for compatibility, disable fullscreen optimizations, and run program as an administrator.
2. Make exception in antivirus for this game folder.
3. in windows search, type storage setting, go to temporary files, only check, direct x shader and then remove files.

In game you can try this:
1. Fullscreen mode : Borderless windows
2. DLSS off
3. Ray Traces Ambient off
4. Nvidia Reflex Low Latency Disable

i have try that all (collect from any articles in internet, and it works for me).

Yup same here, sometimes i can play 2-3 matches but then comes BSOD. Eventviewer tells "Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation"

Tried almost everything. I think its time to delete this game.
